Cycling to raise funds for St. Joe's.
Why St. Joe's?
Some of you may know that last October, I shattered and dislocated my left clavicle in a cycling fall that required immediate surgery. I am still on the mend, but I am extremely grateful that I have the use of my arm back and can cycle again. The talented surgeons and nursing staff at St. Joe's put my collarbone back together and helped me on my journey to recovery.
This ride is my way of thanking St. Joe's and Ontario Health Care System; not once did I have worry about the cost of surgery, instead I was able to focus on recovering and normalizing my life.
Join me on Sunday, September 22nd and Cycle 4 St. Joe's.
If you cannot join me and would still like to support this cause, you can donate and help me raise funds to improve care at St. Joe's and the community it serves.
To donate please click on the "Donate" bar.
Every dollar we raise will be put to great use to build better spaces to care for our ever-growing community, ensure the physicians and health care teams have the best equipment and technology to diagnose and treat patients, and create specialized areas to care for those in our community with specific health needs.
