This year Team Bone Heads is joining forces with our Urology colleagues to raise money to fund a very important program for men’s health which will allow for rapid and accurate diagnosis of prostate cancer.

Presently, patient’s at St. Joes, who have MRIs of their prostates, are required to travel to different hospitals to have targeted biopsies of their prostates for diagnosis.  This leads to greater travel costs and delay in diagnosis.

Team Bone Heads is trying to raise $100,000 to fund a special ultrasound that will allow for targeted biopsies to be done at St. Joe’s thus saving our patients the cost and delay in treatment.
