This is the 12th Anniversary of Cycle 4 St. Joe's and it is my 12th year riding in the event. This event is special for me, because it raises money for one of our most important community assets - St. Joe's our community hospital! This is the place where two out three of my children were born, where I took all of them when they were sick (thank you Dr. Mehta!) and where my grandchildren were born and where their parents take them for their health care. As I grow older I expect that this will be the place where my children will take me when I need elder care. All of us in the Toronto west end community have a vested interest in supporting St. Joe's and its quest to make the west end of Toronto one of the healthiest communities in Canada.
